Dinner/Debate re: 11th September To promote mutual understanding of cultures amongst its members, Euronet hosted a dinner debate on September 28 at the restaurant Café des Amis du Vin in Covent Garden. The debate was dedicated to the causes and consequences of the September 11 attacks.Our guest speaker Lawrence Holsworth addressed the longer-term geo-political ramifications from the "war on terrorism" and asked how it can be conducted in such a way as to avoid innocent deaths (write to Lawrence for full presentation details). More than 35 Euronet members attended this important ongoing debate and participated in a lively discussion. They contributed to a deeper understanding of the complex issues that have been raised in the last few weeks and helped to perpetuate the message of tolerance and communication amongst all people.
