Profile: Ralf Teschner

In his day job, Ralf is a Director at Gartner, the independent IT research and advisory firm. Over the last 10 years, he has held senior events management positions in global conferences group Informa/IBC, at Andersen and at event management agency Pci:Live.

Born in Germany to Anglo-German parents, he spent the last few years in Boston, Washington DC and London. An aerospace technology engineer by training, he has a post-graduade Masters degree in European Studies. Over the last 15 years, he has been active in several associations, including AEGEE, Prometheus Networks, Europe 2020 and now Euronet.

"I believe a closer collaboration of societies and citizens from around the world will lead to a more trusting and confident environment of Europeans and non-Europeans at ease with each other. Europe currently is developing the experience and visions for a continent of nations collaborating naturally. London is a microcosm of this cosmopolitan fusion process. Euronet London wishes to be at the vanguard of this exciting development."

After participating in activities of Euronet DC while living in Washington, Ralf co-founded Euronet London in late 2000. He designed the first version of the website, organises events, networks with other London expat organisations and dreams of Euronet in 2005 as the lobby group for the cosmopolitan community of London.
